सीएम धामी बोले- आज है ऐतिहासिक दिन
हरिद्वार। नए आपराधिक कानून के तहत आज हरिद्वार में पहला मुकदमा दर्ज हुआ है। वहीं सीएम धामी ने कहा कि आज ऐतिहासिक दिन अंग्रेजों के जमाने के क़ानूनों से देश को मुक्ति मिल गई है। पूरे देश में नए आपराधिक क़ानून लागू हो गए हैं। सीएम ने कहा कि इनके क्रियान्वयन के लिए पुलिस को 20 करोड़ रुपए का बजट भी जारी कर दिया गया है।
नए क़ानून दंड के लिए नहीं न्याय को ध्यान में रखते हुए बने हैं। वहीं हरिद्वार में नए कानून के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज हुआ। दर्ज हुए मुकदमे में व्यक्ति ने बताया कि कुछ देर के लिए वह रविदास घाट के पास बैठा था। जहां दो अज्ञात व्यक्ति आए और चाकू दिखाकर जान से मारने की धमकी देकर मोबाइल फोन और कुछ नकदी छीन ले गए। साथ ही व्यक्ति को गंगा कि तरफ धक्का देकर भाग गए।
